I am Sebastian Kranz, the CTO at  Qnit AG. I have been working in Quality Assurance for different software projects for the last ten years. My interest in quality assurance already developed during my bachelor’s degree. That is why I started my career at Mitsubishi Electric where I led a global testing team, defined test strategies, goals and continuously improved testing processes. Three and a half years ago, I’ve started my journey at Qnit AG and used my experiences to build up high quality services for software quality assurance. 
 
My goal is it to find technical solutions which cover modern test strategies and align with the existing development processes of our customers. One major factor for these solutions is speed. Besides creating and executing high quality automated tests in a timely manner I am also focused on deploying enterprise test architectures OnPremise and in Cloud environments to increase speed in the project setup and to reach quality goals even faster.  
 
Furthermore, I am constantly developing quality standards. With our Test Automation Best Practices for example, we ensure a common procedure from our consultants, no matter which framework is used in the customer project. 
 
My motivation and inspiration in private and business life is shaped by three main factors:

• Doing sports (especially Judo)
• Listening to and playing music
• Expand my horizon by travelling and discovering different cultures 

This is also why I want to close my presentation with my favorite quote from Jigorō Kanō, the founder of Judo:  
“It is not important to be better than someone else, but to be better than you were yesterday.”
